Design Brief

This client loves to cook, therefore it was important to incorporate all of the appliances required to make any home chef drool. Two ovens were a must, these were built side by side at bench height to increase their usability. As a result 1200mm Blum drawers running along underneath was the perfect solution under the ovens for the clients many large pots and bakeware.

This kitchen was fitted with hardware solutions to unsure that there were no dead spaces. A Hafele mondo for the corner, Blum oil and herb pull-out and a pantry with Blum internal drawers. All of which are used on a daily basis to make life not only easy in the kitchen but to insure all the clients goodies fit.
What gives this kitchen a striking look is its beautifully contrasting cabinetry colours. The tall and wall units are an embossed bliss cinder which gives the space a bold modern statement. Whereby the contrasting warabi white base cabinets in a satin finish accompanied with a Silestone lagoon bench with a waterfall end helps to soften the environment.

Handle placement in this design was also key; Elite drilled handles were used on the white base cabinets. The bliss cinder cabinetry are all “touch” open making access easy and giving the kitchen a clear finish from the surrounding living areas.
The clients existing 90’s blue kitchen was full if design faults which meant a lot of thought was out into ensuring their future kitchen would be the epitome of functionality and modern design.
