Design Brief

From first meeting Chris and Natalie it was clear they wanted their kitchen to have the “wow” factor. Interesting textures, luxurious materials and style were essential in this design.

The client wanted a servery bar incorporated into the space that could also double as an additional seating area. It was important the design flowed throughout. This was achieved by using a concrete benchtop which ties to the clients existing dining table. Warabi white cabinetry and push catch latches were used to add cohesiveness with the kitchen cabinetry.
The black-on-back island really pops in this design and brings a sophistication to the space. The island cabinetry is an embossed black with matching black handles. Silgranit black sinks, taps and air switch, black air switch and a leathered granite bench which brings a gorgeous tactility to the design.

To soften this bold kitchen. Hidden LED strip lighting was incorporated into the cabinetry and floating shelves gives this space a sumptuous glow of warmth. The open shelving means Natalie can accessories her kitchen however she pleases whilst also keeping the kitchen feeling open and bright.

This design not only moulds to the clients needs but also brings the surrounding living areas together to create a cohesive, contemporary space that compliments the existing features of the house.
